2nd Annual North End Restaurant Week
March 28 – April 2 & April 4 – April 9
Lunch: $20.10 and Dinner: $33.10
Celebrating its fine Italian culinary establishments, Boston’s Little Italy will host its 1st Annual North End Restaurant Week offering diners economically priced three-course prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus through the weeks of March 28-April 2 and April 4-April 9. The neighborhood restaurant week menus are priced at $33.10 for dinner and $20.10 for lunch. Much like “Restaurant Week Boston” the event which is sponsored by the North End Chamber of Commerce, is a way to stimulate the economy and get local food enthusiasts excited about dining out again.
Long-time Boston restauranteur and North End Chamber Chairman, Frank DePasquale, proposed the idea to the neighborhood restaurant community in order to stimulate neighborhood businesses as well as the economy during the winter months. “As restauranteurs, my colleagues and I feel a responsibility to stimulate business in the neighborhood as well as in Boston,” said DePasquale who just launched his latest restaurant venture, Splash Ultra Lounge and Burger Bar, in September of 2009. “Working together by serving great food, we hope to accomplish this for our friends and neighbors.”
As of March 11, a list of some of the neighborhood’s most beloved restaurants have already signed up to participate: Al Dente, Bricco, Cafe Graffiti, Cantina Italiana, Florentine Cafe, La Famiglia Spagnuolo, Gennaro’s 5 North Square, Mare, Nico, North Street Grill, Riccardo’s Ristorante, Ristorante Damiano, Ristorante Fiore, Ristorante Limoncello, Strega, Trattoria Il Panino, and Tresca. Watch for more updates soon.
