Colomba
This homemade Easter dove is as beautiful as it is delicious. It is similar to the Christmas panettone, a dove-shaped cake topped with sliced almonds and powdered sugar with a soft bread interior containing pieces of candied fruit. Ideal for either breakfast or dessert.

 
   
 

Wheat Pie
This traditional Italian ricotta pie is mixed with wheat and is a typical part of an Easter dinner.

 
   
 
Egg Bread
This is a lovely, colorful complement to any Italian Easter breakfast - a sweet egg bread topped with a sugar glaze and served with and without hard-boiled eggs.
 

Pizza Chiena
This "pizza pie"
is also known as a "Rustica" and almost suffices as an entire meal in itself. This salty pie is made of a light flaky crust and is filled with ricotta and parmesan cheeses along with an array of cold cuts, including prosciutto, ham and salami.

 
Marzapan Easter Lambs
These marzapan (almond paste) lambs serve both as an attractive Easter dinner table centerpiece and as a delicious dessert. Surrounded by floral decor, chocolates and other Easter candies, these individually hand-decorated lambs have a hard sugar shell and a soft marzapan interior.
 
Rice Pie
An Italian ricotta pie mixed with rice and served with Easter dinner.
 

"Zeppolo di San Giuseppe"
This Sicilian specialty is a light egg dough fried to a golden brown perfection and filled with either ricotta cheese, whipped cream or with the more traditional pastry cream and amarena cherries. This traditional Italian pastry is only available on Saint Joseph Day - March 19th. After that, youšll have to wait 364 more days to taste another Zeppolo.
